You asked for it and we listened! Starting this season we're offering a quick-and-not-so-dirty cleaning service. For an extra $29.99 ($5 less with coupon) our tech will do a basic vacuum, give your dash a good wipedown, apply a Rain-X application on your front windshield and finally, give your summer tires a brilliant shine. It's the perfect combination to get your vehicle back in tip top form after a tiring winter! For everyone that has wanted to know why I started this business, now you can watch the interview and find out! Thanks to Michael O'Byrne for taking interest in Tire Changers and spreading the word to all of Ottawa. Since the newscast went live we've had so many people contact us for next season. Help spread the word by sharing this story! Click here for the newscast We're happy to announce that our on-site service event was a success at General Dynamics Canada in support of their United Way campaign! A portion of the proceeds from each tire changeover was donated to United Way Ottawa. Big thanks to all that made it happen. Contact us if your place of work would be interested in have us service you and your co-workers. Group rates available. All tires come with tread wear indicators. These are small bands of rubber between the tread blocks of a tire. When the tread is worn down to the level of the indicator, it's time to change your tires. A tread depth of three mm is about the limit for all-season and performance tires. Winter tires are considered worn out when the tread depth dips below six mm. Another sign that your tires are at the end of their useful lives: cracks appear in the rubber. The tires can no longer be considered safe to use.
